Kang and Kodos tire of a World Series baseball game and decide to speed things up with some help from a time accelerator ray gun. The blast proves a bit too effective, causing the fabric of the universe to shatter. Everything in existence gets sucked into a vortex and destroyed.

“B.I.: Bartificial Intelligence” — While visiting Patty and Selma, Bart decides to jump into a swimming pool from a ledge high above. He ends up in a coma. Dr. Hibbert suggests that Marge and Homer replace Bart with a Robo-Tot. Homer thinks it’s a great idea. Before long technicians deliver David, a robotic boy, to the house. Two months later Bart awakens from the coma. When he returns home, and discovers that he’s been replaced by an artificial boy, Bart is not happy. He decides enough is enough, and tries to eliminate his competition by pushing him into a lion cage at the zoo. The plot backfires, and Bart is mauled by mutant peacocks. Later, as they drive through a remote area, Homer tells Bart that he and Marge have decided it’s best if he’s no longer part of the family. Homer pushes Bart out of the car. As he walks through the woods, Bart stumbles upon a group of dilapidated robots. The robots power down for the evening, giving Bart the chance to steal some of their parts. When Bart returns home he’s a Frankenstein-like assemblage of mechanical and human parts. As Bart and David battle it out, Bart slices Homer in half using his buzz-saw arm. Then he slices David in half. Later we see Homer standing at the barbecue in the backyard, his lower torso made up of David’s smaller bottom half. Lisa awakens Homer and tells him he’s not a robot, but has been possessed by the devil.

“Survival of the Fattest” — Homer is invited to attend a hunting party at Mr. Burns’ private estate. When Homer shows up at the mansion, he dines with other men from throughout Springfield. Mr. Burns announces they’ll all be participating in the world’s most dangerous game… and the game he’ll be hunting is them. Armed with a shotgun, Burns gives the men a five-minute head start. Comic Book Guy is the first to be gunned down. Burns says that any man who lives until noon the next day will win his freedom. He has his lawyer draft a legal document to cover him in court, and then shoots the lawyer. As the men rush out the mansion’s front door and head for cover, Burns takes aim and fires, killing Apu. Terry Bradshaw gives a play-by-play as the hunt continues. At one point the men are flung into the air after they climb into a tree. Burns blasts away as if they were skeet. Moe escapes the shots, but is impaled on a weather vane. Burns strafes the remaining men in a bi-plane as they eat around a campfire. Homer tries to outsmart Burns by manipulating Barney’s corpse. The ruse fails, and Burns moves in for the kill. Luckily Marge arrives and bonks Burns and Smithers over the head with a frying pan, saving Homer’s life.

“I’ve Grown a Costume on Your Face” — People from throughout Springfield gather for the semi-annual Halloween party. A woman dressed as a wicked witch wins a competition for Best Costume. Mayor Quimby hands the woman a gift certificate and congratulates her. Before the woman has a chance to leave, Quimby asks that she reveal who she really is. The witch responds that she’s not wearing a costume; she really is a witch. When the townspeople find out the truth, they react with shock. Since the witch isn’t in a costume, Quimby yanks the gift certificate from her hands. Furious, the witch flies through the air on her broomstick. Using her magic wand she casts a spell, and turns everyone into the costumes they’re wearing. Homer becomes headless, Marge becomes an actual skeleton, Hibbert transforms into a real vampire, and so on. Lisa, who morphed into Albert Einstein, sets about finding a way to reverse the spell. She realizes that Maggie transformed into a witch, and now has the power to perform magic. Bart doesn’t want to go back to his normal self, and prefers being a werewolf. He’s soon joined by other townspeople who also like their new selves. Maggie decides to turn everyone into a giant pacifier.
