“House of Whacks”—In the first segment,a robot salesman interests Marge in the UltraHouse 3000, an automated home of the future. Eventually, the family settles on a voice for the house computer, which sounds like Pierce Brosnan. At first, the house seems completely benign and helpful, whisking way dinner dishes and performing other household chores. But the Pierce Brosnan computer system soon takes a romantic interest in Marge and focuses its attention on doing away with Homer. It isn’t long before the computer lures Homer out of bed at night and turns off the lights as Homer makes his way down the stairs, sending him crashing to the bottom. Later, Homer is dumped into a disposal and ground to bits. But when the computer launches an attack on Marge and the kids, a bloodied and disheveled Homer punches his way out of the kitchen floor. The Pierce Brosnan computer uses its mechanical arms for another attack. This time, Homer runs to the basement and smashes the machine’s circuitry with an ax. Later, Marge gives Patty and Selma the machine’s central processor, feeling it would be a waste to dispose of something so charming and witty.
“Hex and the City"-While exploring Ethnictown, Marge happens upon a gypsy fortuneteller. Unfortunately, Homer offends the gypsy by insisting the wart on her nose is fake. While struggling with some gypsy beads, Homer inadvertently sets the room on fire, triggering the sprinkler system and ruining everything. Furious, the gypsy curses Homer, insisting that everyone around him will suffer. When Marge awakens the next morning, she sports a full-length beard. Then, when Homer chokes Bart during an argument, Bart’s neck stretches and gets long and skinny. And a short time later, Lisa grows hooves and a tail. Homer makes his way to Moe’s bar, where he insists he has not been cursed. Suddenly, a helicopter crashes through the roof, killing Lenny and Carl. Convinced his luck is linked to a leprechaun, Homer makes his way to Springfield forest and sets a trap. He catches a leprechaun and brings it home, only to realize he’s still cursed. He brings the little creature to the gypsy’s lair. But instead of attacking the gypsy, as Homer had hoped, the leprechaun falls in love with her. Later, the two are wed.
“Wiz Kids”—As Bart and Lisa watch television, Lisa waves a magic wand and turns the set into a Harry Potter book. Marge tells the kids to get ready for wizard’s school. Later, Mrs. Krabappel informs class that with a big magic recital on its way, the children will be practicing toad-to-prince spells. Lisa turns a toad into a Prince William-type hunk, but Bart failed to do his homework, and turns himself into a disgusting half-prince, half-frog. Lisa then uses her powers to give Bart a massive wedgie. Meanwhile, the evil wizard Lord Montymort tells his assistant, Slithers, a large snake with Smither’s face, that they must capture the girl so they can extract her essence. Montymort enlists Bart’s help. As Lisa prepares to appear onstage for the magic recital, Bart swaps her magic wand with a Twizzler candy. The audience boos Lisa, and moments later, the Twizzler transforms into Montymort, who places a metal skull cap on his head and then connects one to Lisa. Horrified, Bart grabs Lisa’s magic wand and stabs Montymort in the leg with it. Montymort collapses, his secret powers housed in his knee.
