Matthew Fox has put to bed the hope of a Lost spinoff show after the final series ends in 2010 according to Digital Spy.
Fox revealed that he has been told what the final image of series 6 will be stating: "Yes. I literally just know that final image."
The actor added: "I don't think the word 'Lost' will come up at the end of the last [episode]," he told Digital Spy. "That's how much finality it will have. Unlike any other episode ever done on Lost, I think it will just go to black and that will be it......."I think the show will end in a way that there really cannot be any future of Lost. That would be my guess."
In a recent interview with E-online Lost star Matthew Fox revealed that fans won't be disappointed in series 6 as Damon and Carlton's grand plan for the Lost finale is revealed. Matthew went on to say that the show will end in "an incredibly powerful, very sad and beautiful way. I think is going to be pretty awesome."
He gave another morsel of information to keep Lost withdrawal at bay by adding that the beginning of series 6 will look at what happened after the detonation of the bomb but the storyline will be more focused as the series continues, stating "Like a third of the way in [to the season] I would guess we are going to [settle] in one time frame and it will be very linear—no more flashbacks, nothing. It will be on the island and sort of a final conflict to the end,"
Lost series 6 will back on Sky1 early 2010 !
