Shelley Conn trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Her TV career took off in 2001 when she starred in police drama Mersey Beat. In 2002, Conn made her West End debut when the RSC's Jacobean Season transferred from Stratford-Upon-Avon. Since then, Conn has starred in a variety of film, TV and stage productions.
In 2007 she was part of an ensemble cast, including Dr Who star Matt Smith and Colin Salmon, in the BBC2 political drama Party Animals. The following year she starred in the BAFTA®-nominated horror Dead Set. Conn is probably best known for her role as Jessica in the hit BBC drama Mistresses, of which a third series will shortly begin production.
