Ross in travels in a small boat out to an island where he willl meet pirates and learn how they use bamboo poles to scale up onto the large ships they take hostage.
Ross Kemp, " In Indonesia I went out to sea with pirates. They showed us how they use bamboo poles to climb up the side of ships. They wear balaclavas and ski masks and armed with machetes they take ships. They call it shopping. They go it early in the month because that's when the ships' crews have been paid. The crew will be forced to collect in one place and then the pirates will rob them. They'll take their ipods and their mobile phones and money. They can hit eight or nine ships in a night if they want to and if there are 12 pirates they'll all make between $20-30,000. Then they won't do it for another month or two and they live off the money. They'll gamble with it, drink it, pay prostitutes or buy drugs. Then when the money runs out they'll be back out on the boats again."
