An interview with Siren:

How much of a Gladiators fan are you?
I've loved the show since it was originally aired. I really wanted to audition for Sky1's revival, but I was too late to apply.

What can we expect from Siren?
Siren is a good girl with a cheeky wink and wiggle.

Who is your favourite Gladiator and why?
My favourite Gladiators are from the original series, Lightning and Jet. They built up a really nice connection with the crowd and were so smiley. I'm hoping to bring that to the table.

What is your favourite event and why?
I'm enjoying them all, but the standouts are Earthquake, Suspension Bridge and Rocketball. I'm not used to doing contact sports, so it's a bit of a release to be a bit rough.

Have you been welcomed into the fold by the Gladiators?
They're such a nice bunch, there's not one of them that hasn't been welcoming. All of the Gladiators are easy to get on with. There are so many different characters. We all have a role to play.

What do you bring to the show?
I'm sexy and seductive. I think viewers are going to enjoy the wink and wiggle.

What qualities do you need to have to be a Gladiator?
Obviously, you need to have the physical capabilities, like strength and stamina, but you also need an internal strength, a mental edge.

 


How do you feel about the Big Bad Wolf's return to his former hunting ground?
He was the Gladiator, the legend. He's such a unique personality. I'm hoping to be inspired.
