Britney's kiss packs a punch!
Celebrity fever hits The Simpsons as it’s time for the annual Springfield Pride Awards. There’s much excitement as local news anchor and face of Springfield, Kent Brockman, is joined as co-host by world famous pop starlet Britney Spears herself- bringing a much needed touch of glamour to proceedings.
The highlight of the ceremony is Britney’s presentation of an award to Springfield’s oldest man, Cornelius Chapman - a 108-year old local resident revered for his many important contributions to Springfield history (such as introducing the town to toothbrushes).
Unfortunately, having survived a long and eventful life, the excitement of kissing Britney Spears proves to be the last act Cornelius ever makes, as he drops dead on the spot. Embarrassed but undeterred, Brockman and Spears quickly usher onto stage Springfield’s next oldest resident – none other than Monty Burns. We knew he was old, but THAT old??
The revelation sends Mr Burns on a quest to determine just how unhealthy he is - whilst somewhat unwisely allowing our favourite screen family to house-sit for him…
