Save the Children, as part of it's emergency response programme in Kenya, is working with ExStreet - a local organisation in Eldoret, to support street children by providing counselling, training and helping kids get back to school or earn a living.
Ex-Street worker stands behind the kids, "I am eager for a new day because I really love the work I do. I know that I meeting children, talking to them, having a good time with them, imparting good values and identifying their different problems."
"We prepare tea in the morning for the children in the drop in centre, and then we play games with them, and listen to their stories and hear what they have experienced during the previous night. It also gives us an opportunity to obtain more information about their lives, their problems, hopes and fears."
