Road Wars – An apology To Graham Upton
In Episode 11 of Series 7 of Road Wars, we showed footage of a search of domestic premises by the police. The police were investigating whether the occupants were guilty of supplying cannabis. In the programme we wrongly suggest that Graham Upton was subsequently charged with possession of cannabis and later convicted following this search. The programme also gave the impression that there were strong grounds to suspect that Mr Upton had been dealing in cannabis. This was wrong. In fact, Mr Upton was mistakenly identified for another man who was charged and convicted of possession of cannabis. We apologise unreservedly to Mr Upton for our mistake.
