How long have you been in the Force? Thirteen years now, but seems much longer.

Why did you go into policing?  Having served eight years in the Royal Air Force, I felt the Police was a natural progression.

If you weren't a copper what job would you be doing? Anything with a blue light.

What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to on the job?  I once stood on a wasps nest whilst checking out a report of a person breaking into a house. A number of the stinging blighters somehow got into my pocket, and the resulting rapid removal of clothing was a tad embarrassing.

What's the toughest thing you've had to deal with while on The Road Crime Unit? Having worked within the CID department for the past 6 years during which time I was mainly office bound, I found the Advanced Driving, Pursuit and TPAC driving courses the toughest things.

What was it like being filmed every day? It was a bit distracting at first, however after copious amounts of free coffee and doughnuts, you forget they are there.

Are you a fan of police shows?  Depends what kind of days we've had at work. Sometimes you can get too much of a good thing.

If you won the lottery, what car would you buy?  BMW M5 estate and a Porsche 911 Turbo to go back and fore to the shops.
