Why did you go into policing? Variety and quick cars.

If you weren't a copper what job would you be doing? A copper, you mean a Police officer? Selling Porsches or BMWs.

What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to on the job? Called a lady a man and then got all tongue tied!

What's the toughest thing you've had to deal with while on The Road Crime Unit? We stopped a vehicle with a large amount of cash on board. The driver sat quietly watching whilst the passenger kicked off. We then searched the passenger to find a CS spray and a knife hidden in his coat.

What was it like being filmed every day? The guys are brilliant and start to get a Policeman's nose. By the end of week three they were spotting villains a mile off!

Are you a fan of police shows? Not really, editing is a powerful thing. Good policing doesn’t always mean a good programme and visa versa. I do like Road Wars - the Thames Valley team were great to watch.

If you won the lottery, what car would you buy? No hesitation. Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible, Macadamia Metallic, with matching leather full PCM, Carbon breaks, 19inch Turbos and a Cayenne for the misses.
