An interview with Predator:
What lessons have you learnt from season one?
I've discovered that I need to develop my character, to become Predator.
What can we expect from Predator in season two?
This time around, Predator is going to be lethal and unforgiving. He's taking no prisoners whatsoever. At the same time, I want to maintain some sportsmanship. During the game, I'm going to have a no-nonsense attitude but, afterwards, if the Contender has done a good job, I'll let him know about it. If he does a bad job, I'll let him know about that as well.
What is your favourite moment from season one and why?
The list is endless. I'd have to say it was one of my Wall performances. The event is Predator-friendly, it's about speed, skill and precision. It always gives me a buzz.
How do you feel about the Big Bad Wolf's return to his former hunting ground?
Wolf should be fun. He's the best of the oldies and will certainly add another dimension to the show. But who knows? I've never had a manager in my life.
Are you glad to be donning the spandex suit once again?
I've actually had a change in uniform. Last time, it was a very masculine two-piece, complete with man bra. Now, I've got an all-in-one, superhero style.
Have you welcomed the new Gladiators into the fold?
They fitted in straight away, there's a real sense of camaraderie this season.
What challenges will you be facing in season two?
The new events. I'm especially excited about Pursuit, because it caters to my strengths. It's all about speed and agility, and I'm looking forward to hunting these Contenders down. Rocketball looks interesting and I'll be getting stuck into that one as well.
How has Gladiators changed your life?
I was doing a lot of gigs prior to Gladiators, it just happens that this is the best one. It's different to anything I've done in my career and unbelievably fun. Gladiators hasn't massively changed my life, but it has definitely enhanced it. The show has introduced me to another generation, the kids come up to me because I'm Predator, but their parents know me for my sporting achievements.
