Use FTP sites, electronic distribution and recycle tapes and DVD’s. Reduce couriers.
- Use FTP sites for viewing rushes and off line edited programmes.
- Replace regular incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). Avoid the use of halogen lamps.
- If messengers must be used, use a company that uses hybrid or alternative fuel vehicles.
- Recycle all tapes and DVD’s or donate to local organizations or schools
- Use recycled stock for everything but master footage.
