At his biggest 29 year-old Lee tipped 37 stones.  He battled to get it down to 34 stones but hit a wall doing it on his own.  Lee doesn't know why he got so big other than he just loves food.   But Lee grew up with a 'big' family and got used to 'big' portions, although no one was quite his size.  

Since leaving school Lee has worked in various factory jobs, and although his current employers have been hugely supportive in his bid to shed the weight he's keen to find a more fulfilling role in life.   

Lee ate mainly because the opportunity was there and ate when around other people. At 6ft 5in he was always a big lad and other people encouraged his excessive eating. He let it get out of control, until food became the answer to everything; boredom, tension and depression.

Lee wants to have kids but he knows at his weight the odds are stacked against him. Lee's brother is also concerned his life is at risk.
