Noel's Christmas Presents: Inspirational People

Helena Jones has been a committed campaigner for organ donation ever since 4 of her 5 children suffered from kidney disease and required transplants.

She has managed to raise thousands of pounds for Kidney Research UK through various sponsored events including abseiling down the tallest building in Wales at the age of 68 and doing a sky dive at the age of 70. Helena continues to work tirelessly to raise awareness to the fact there is a shortage of organ donors in the UK and even has her own campaign, “Helena’s Hope”, which has helped to increase the number of registered organ donors in Wales.
