My Pet ShameMarc Abraham has 15 years expereince in fixing animal ailments - He has treated all sorts of animals in a variety of locations – from consulting rooms to warzones and scenes of natural disaster. Marc is passionate about animal welfare and is a fervent promoter of responsible pet ownership.

Marc has appeared on our screens in many shows from
Crufts, Animal Rescue Live, to ITV's This Morning, It’s Me or the Dog and The Paul O’Grady Show; and has also been asked to contribute his voice to BBC and ITN news and The Tonight Programme. 

Marc’s commitment to educating the nation about caring for and choosing their pets continues off-screen too with visits to schools, columns for the national and local press and his regular phone-in on BBC Radio Sussex.  As well as being a practicing vet, Marc is also co-founder of free ‘social petworking’ website www.thepet.net that gives owners the chance to rate and comment on services they have received from pet-friendly businesses and help them find the best for their pet.  His dedication and drive saw him recently awarded a Special Veterinary Award by the veterinary industry and voted UK’s favourite vet by the British public.

Marc was recently appointed as an independent veterinary advisor to the Kennel Club of Great Britain, he actively campaigns against puppy farming, and supports a number of animal charities including Oldies Club, Dogs Trust and The Mayhew Animal Home.
