Must Be The Music: First Semi Final WinnersMust Be The Music: First Semi Final Winners

We have our first two finalists - congratulations Daithi and Pepper & Piano - download their tracks and get behind real music.

After much anticipation, the first instalment of Must Be The Music LIVE semi-finals took place this weekend - and with five spine tingling performances from the acts, a performance from superstar judge Jamie Cullum and two acts through to play at Wembley – the first live show brought endless excitement with it. Flow Dem, Legion of Many, Daithi, Pepper & Piano and Chakula Soul were the first five semi-finalists to give it their all for your vote – but with only two acts going through to the final, we had to wave goodbye to three of them…

First to take to the stage were Welsh grime group Flow Dem. Their catchy audition track Get All The Ladies In was an instant hit - but the lively lads decided to showcase their softer side for the live semi-finals with  new song, Get What I Want. Though the reaction from the judges was fairly positive, the overall view was that the boys from Newport should have stuck with their original track. You at home agreed with them - and despite recieving rave reviews on their social pages, the lads failed to make it to the final.

Next up were Legion of Many who hoped to launch themselves into the stratosphere with self-penned track Now We Are Stars. The tune impressed the judges first time round – and electro pop act Legion of Many decided to stick with it for the semi-finals. But despite face paint, feathers and some fancy dance moves, the Legion didn't manage to make it to Wembley.

The next act to take to the stage was Daithi, his fiddle and his loop station. The boy from County Clare had the audience and judges mesmerised with his new composition Carraroe. The 20-year-old also managed to impress you at home and thanks to your support, found himself with a pass to Wembley.

After sending shivers down the judges' spines in their audition, Pepper & Piano had a lot to live up to. Sticking with their original track, You Took My Heart - the ladies impressed all over again and you decided they deserved to be in the final.

Last to perform were Brit school band Chakula Soul, who took to the stage with their own song Love Goodbyes. Their funky sound didn't manage to strike a chord with the judges or you at home - and the group had to kiss their Wembley dream goodbye.

We might have said goodbye to three of the acts - but you can still buy all of the tracks featured on the show from iTunes and Sky Songs. Remember that 100% of the net profits go to the artist so they will start making money from their music straight away.
