To headline at Glastonbury and see the crowd decked out in their black stripes and feathers.

Creative sparks first ignited seven years ago when Bristolian singer/songwriter Jeremy moved to New York to perform Soul and R‘n’B. Realising the Manhattan music scene was looking for something a little more ‘out there’, Jeremy soon upped the ante and adopted an electro dance sound and an eclectic set of costumes.

Jeremy’s brother Mark, a guitarist, came over to see him and the two began brainstorming ideas for a new band that would allow the people to boogie to their hearts’ content.

Returning to the UK, Jeremy and Mark drew on their experiences of the New York music scene,  and set about creating the Legion of Many. Adding to their party, Jeremy and Mark rounded up Mike, Tom, Peter, Gabriel, Kesty and Gemma whose roles are bassist, drummer, xylo synth player, percussionist, keyboard player and backing singers. Though this makes up the musical side of the band, there is no limit to how many people can join the legion – anyone willing to dance, dress up and have a good time is welcomed in with open arms.

Although the band have only been formed for one year, they have  performed at various venues in London, including the famous club Sketch, as well as the Womad Festival. The Legion of Many now have their sights set on seeing Glastonbury festival goers dancing to their sound adorned in their black stripe and feathers.
