Bones: Meet The Cast

TJ Thyne is from Boston but moved around a lot as a kid. He landed several lead roles at a young age in play productions throughout the country, including the off-Broadway production of Van Gogh at New York's Mint Theatre Company.

Thyne studied acting with teachers throughout the United States and British Columbia. He graduated from the USC School of Theatre, where he studied acting for four years before auditioning for parts.

It didn't take long before he landed guest roles on television shows including Friends, Cold Case, Boston Legal, Nip/Tuck, CSI: NY, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Huff and, most recently, The O.C. and 24.

Thyne's feature film credits include the role of Stu Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey, the young lawyer David Foil in Erin Brockovich with Julia Roberts, Gerald in How High with Method Man and Redman, as well as appearances in Something's Gotta Give, What Women Want, Edtv and Ghost World.
