Alexandra Rousseau, the biological daughter of Danielle Rousseau and Robert, was born on the island in 1988. She was "adopted" by Benjamin Linus, who raised her as an Other. Alex's mother and boyfriend Karl were murdered by mercenaries hired by Charles Widmore to kill Ben Linus. Alex herself was finally murdered by the head mercenary, Martin Keamy, in an act that Ben said "changed the rules."

Alex Rousseau is played by actress Tania Raymonde, whose other credits include roles on Malcolm in the Middle, Cold Case, and Bones.

Like her character, Tania was born in 1988. She has also appeared in music videos for the bands Maroon 5 and Cursive.
