Lost: Episode 5 - The Constant

He phones Penny on the number she gave him. She tells him that she has been searching for him for years and that she knows about the island. The battery dies but Desmond can now remember everything having made contact with his constant.

Back on the island, Daniel is looking through an old journal. He has written on one of the pages. 'If anything goes wrong, Desmond Hume will be my constant'.
