Tricia Tanaka (a TV reporter character who also, bizarrely, regularly appears in Family Guy) clearly didn't want to be doing the "and finally…" piece for Action 8 news.

The report centred on Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes, who'd recently won the lottery and bought the place he worked in - a chicken diner called Mr Cluck's.

Ignoring Hurley's insistence that it's bad luck to enter the restaurant before it opens, Tricia headed indoors to get some B-roll footage. At the same time a meteorite soars in, obliterating the restaurant and killing reporter and crew. Silliest Lost death. Ever.
