Justin Lee Collins Justin Lee Collins Sky1 caught up with the TV funnyman to find out just how troublesome treading the boards was...

Q: How difficult was it to transform into an all-dancing, all-singing sensation?

JLC: "It was very difficult. As Amos Hart in Chicago I had to learn one of the show's biggest numbers. There were so many things I had to get my head around and juggle."

Q: Like what?

JLC: On top of memorising my lines, I had to deliver them in a bona fide American accent, so was assigned a vocal coach to 'Yankee up' my West Country accent. Then there's the singing tutor and choreographer."

Q: What's the hardest thing?

JLC: "There's such a short space of time to nail all these different elements and put in a decent performance."
