An interview with Inferno:

What lessons have you learnt from season one?
To lift heavier weights and do more running.

What can we expect from Inferno in season two?
In season one, Inferno was a moody, silent character. This season, she's going to come out of her shell and be confident, flirtatious and fabulous. Inferno is still a bitch though.

What was your favourite moment from season one and why?
My favourite moment isn't actually from the series. It was when the Gladiators were first unveiled; the adrenaline rush and buzz was overwhelming. I actually felt like crying, because I'd been such a big fan of the show for so long. But I pulled myself together and remembered that Inferno doesn't cry unless they're tears of flames.

How do you feel about the Big Bad Wolf's return to his former hunting ground?
I'm so excited. There's no need to worry because I'm not going to make mistakes. After all, I'm too fabulous to make mistakes.

Are you glad to be donning your spandex suit once again?
Absolutely. There's less spandex this time around and more sparkle. Finger's crossed, I'll conquer the wedgie situation this series.

Have you welcomed the new Gladiators into the fold?
I adore my new comrades. It feels so natural. You don't actually need to put a lot of effort in, because they all just fit.

What challenges will you be facing in season two?
All of the new events. I can't wait to master Rocketball. You think it's going to be this elegant and relaxing experience, gliding through the air and all that. But you couldn't be more wrong - you smash into each other like human wrecking balls. I love it, and it's definitely the event that I'm most suited to.

How has Gladiators changed your life?
I'm in America so much that I don't really get recognised. In fact, most people assume that I'm Phoenix from American Gladiators, because of the bright red hair. So, it's quite funny when they find out I'm actually a Gladiator on British shores. Aside from that, I'm still crazy old Gemma doing her wrestling thing.
