Prodjig are making waves in the Irish dancing world with their unique take on the style. The professional Riverdancers want to change perceptions of Irish dancing, and hope their street edge will bring it into the mainstream dancing world. Their successful dome audition was the first time they’d performed as Prodijig, having being formed a year ago.

The group has big ambitions and are aiming for their style to become a brand, like Riverdance. If they won Got To Dance, Prodijig would spend the prize money on setting up their own studio and production company, although they would first “party like rock stars”!

The group is based all over the UK and Ireland and so struggle to rehearse together. They’re led by frontman Alan, who came up with the Prodijig concept. He admits he’s strict, and admires Ashley for what he’s done with Diversity.
