Two Gladiators stand on top of the Pyramid. Two Contenders start centrally at the base of the Pyramid, one on each face. The Contender must attempt to evade the Gladiator and climb to the summit within the 60 second time limit. The objective of the Gladiator is to prevent them from doing so by tackling them, throwing them, pulling them, etc. – but no headlocks, kicking or striking of any kind is allowed.
Scoring:
10 points will be awarded to the first opponent to succeed and 5 points to the second. 3 points will be awarded to any Contender who is on or above the 'scoring zone,' (6th step from the bottom) when the time is up.
Trivia:
* Beloved Gladiator Jet’s injury on Pyramid during one of the 1996 Wembley Live shows ended her career as a Gladiator.
