The finale of the second season of Fringe brings with it an incredible climax. Sacrifices are made and both universes are irrevocably altered. Leonard Nimoy (Mr Spock from Star Trek) guest stars, marking his retirement from acting.
About Fringe so far:
Going out with a bang, the debut season finale saw Walter visit a gravestone that read Peter Bishop 1978- 1985; Leonard Nimoy was unveiled as William Bell, Walter’s former science partner, co-author of the ZFT manifesto and CEO of the shady company Massive Dynamic; and Olivia walked through a ‘soft spot’ to find herself in an alternate universe where the Twin Towers were still standing.
As the second series of Fringe sticks to its ethos of delving into the disturbing and downright bizarre, further exploring The Observer’s (Michael Cerveris) notion that “there is more than one of everything”.
Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), Dr Walter Bishop (John Noble), Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson), Phillip Broyles (Lance Reddick), Nina Sharp (Blair Brown), Charlie Francis (Kirk Acevedo), John Scott (Marc Valley), Astrid Farnsworth (Jasika Nicole), David Robert Jones (Jared Harris).
