An interview with Enigma:

What lessons have you learnt from season one?
The biggest lesson that I've learnt is what it means and takes to be a Gladiator. You have to go out there with the attitude to take down the Contender every time. It's not about whether you are cheered or booed, liked or disliked, as you long as you get a reaction, you've done your job. That's all that matters.

What can we expect from Enigma in season two?
Enigma's going to put the E into Evil and B into Bad. I'm going to bring the Contenders down, bring Ian down and give Caroline flack. I'm determined to be the strongest girl on the show.

What was your favourite moment from season one and why?
I absolutely loved the Legends show, going up against the golden oldies and chasing Flame's hot ass on the Eliminator. That was definitely the peak for me.

How do you feel about the Big Bad Wolf's return to his former hunting ground?
I'm ecstatic. I want to create a character of that magnitude; I want Enigma to become a Gladiators icon. The show now has a great nostalgic feel; the new is now linked to the old. Wolf's an interesting guy as well, armed with a lot of advice. I just hope he doesn't try and steal the spotlight!

Are you glad to be donning your spandex suit once again?
I've missed it. As soon as I slip it back on, it's like a switch and Enigma takes over. They've made some exciting additions to it as well.

Have you welcomed the new Gladiators into the fold?
I've welcomed them with open arms. I genuinely like them all, they're spunky and tough.

What's it like having Doom [Enigma is Doom's girlfriend] on the show?
It's amazing, Doom's like a rocket ship behind me from Planet Gladiator. We're going to become Mr and Mrs Bad!

What challenges will you be facing in season two?
I think the biggest challenge is the fact that there are so many more Gladiators, which means we're going to have to fight for prime position on each and every show. You have to be on the top of your game, both character and performance wise. The other challenge is the introduction of the new events. At the moment, I love Pursuit, a game of cat and mouse where you chase the Contenders through a range of obstacles. It requires balls and aggression.

How has Gladiators changed your life?
It's been the best year of my life. I want to develop my career in television and Gladiators is such a great stepping stone. I've got to attend so many incredible events - the Hancock premiere, Cartier Polo, Ascot, to name but a few - and met so many interesting people. It's been so much fun and, fingers crossed, Gladiators is the start of all my dreams coming true.
