According to The Sun, "The Simpsons" Executive Producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean are hoping to lure Barack Obama to make an appearance on the show - which would make Obama the first president in office to do a cameo.
"The Simpsons" has a rich history of skewering politics - from the show's early 90s feud with President George H.W. Bush to Tony Blair's famous appearance in the episode "The Regina Monologues" during the show's 15th series.
"We'd love to have Barack on the show. No president has agreed to do it yet but we'll keep asking," said Brooks. "We're putting all the right signals out."
The producers added that they'd welcome a cameo from ex-President George W. Bush as well - so they could send him up.
