How much of a Gladiators fan are you?
I was a big fan of the original series and have now been sucked in by the Sky1 revival. I'm a bit of a Gladiators buff. I like the fact that it's fun, energetic and entertaining, and that it promotes athleticism and sports. It's different to the other shows that are on television at the moment.
What can we expect from Amazon?
Amazon is a fierce competitor, possessing strength in mind as well as body.
Who is your favourite Gladiator and why?
My favourite Gladiator from the old series is Wolf, because of the sheer entertainment factor. From the present series, it's got to be Panther. She's awesome and kicks so much Contender butt.
What is your favourite event and why?
Powerball is at the top of my list. I like the fact that I'm working as part of a team and that it's a contact game. Rocketball is a close second though. You can't go wrong with a bit of mid-air tackling.
Have you been welcomed into the fold by the Gladiators?
Absolutely, everyone has been so friendly. I can't say a bad word about any of them.
What do you bring to the show?
Amazon is a team player. She doesn't just go out there to win for herself, she pulls it out the bag for the team as well. I'm also the green Gladiator and am fiercely protective of the eco system. I've got a lot of opportunities with Sky regarding that.
What qualities do you need to be a Gladiator?
Athleticism goes hand and hand with being a Gladiator. You have to be competitive as well, because you need that spirit. Without that extra something, the Contenders can take advantage, can exploit the Achilles heel.
How do you feel about the Big Bad Wolf's return to his former hunting ground?
I'm excited and scared. At the end of the day, Wolf is on our side, but I don't want to get on the wrong side of him.
What words of warning do you have for the Contenders?
Be prepared to give it your all. Go hard or go home.
What animal would you be?
I'd be a panther, because they're elegant and deadly. If that name wasn't already taken, I'd be all over it!
