Our only group from The Republic of Ireland, Raw Edge are seven street dancers from Dublin. They bring a high energy mash-up of hip-hop moves with an Irish flavour.
Raw Edge are a true example of the modern multi-cultural Dublin.
Exotic

Raw Edge are the perfect group to represent The Republic of Ireland in Got To Dance. They are Irish at their core but have a thoroughly exotic edge thanks to Thai member Ganvawat and Africans Suleman and Adrian.
Raw Edge are all working as dance teachers in the Irish capital.
Compete
The group met in 2002 and have been dancing together ever since. They love to compete and have won the All Ireland Hip-Hop and Breakdance Championships three times in a row!
Raw Edge represented Ireland at the World Hip-Hop Championships in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Success
Got To Dance is not their first taste of TV success as they appeared on The All Ireland Talent Show last year.
They have promised to bring even more to the semi-finals -more polish and more surprises! They were the last street dancers to make it through after the dance o
ff in front of Ashley and Kimberly.
Funky
During the live semi final Raw Edge returned with a Jaws themed routine which tried to combine their Irish heritage with a new funky dance. But the judges were not impressed and Kimbery said, "I just don't get it." The routine wasn't enough to impress you either and it was MJ Latin and Matthew Koon who went through from the second semi final.
