Got To Dance Judges said the bar had been set in the competition after seeing fifteen year old Matthew dance. The Judges gave the young dancer a standing ovation - something they haven't done for anyone else after his touching performance.
Backstage, friends and family were left biting their nails as Matthew danced his heart out. His parents weren't sure if he was good enough to be a professional dancer. They had told Matthew he must complete his studies and that he might not have the standards to make it.
INSPIRING
After his permance the Judges unanimously sent him through to the next round. Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls thanked Matthew and said, "you inspire me". She said she would have changed nothing about his performance.
WORLD CLASS
Adam Garcia told the audience "you have seen a world class dancer today." The Judges could barely believe Matthew was so young when they discoverd he was just 15.
Matthew's parents were thrilled with the Judges reaction and said that it had changed their perspective on Matthew's career choice. But that he still needed to get his GCSE's!
With three Gold Stars Matthew will go through to the next stage of the competition when the judges will pick 18 of the best dancers they have seen to go to the live semi-finals.
