After just one dance Davina McCall was already disagreeing with the Got To Dance judges. The first dancer up split the judges but had missed out on getting the three Gold Stars he needed to make it through to the next round, when presenter Davina invaded the stage in support.
Martin Sierra was the first person to audition for Got To Dance and found himself with an unexpected dance partner after Davina ran on stage to try and persuade judge Ashley Banjo to change from a Red Star to a Gold. But Ashley wasn't swayed even when the presenter started to dance with Martin onsatge.
A SUITCASE AND A DREAM
Martin is a twenty-year old from Norway who'd came to the UK last sumer "with only a suitcase and a dream". Saying he had "hips from Columbia" Martin was sure he'd make it through but Adam Garcia was the only judge to award him a covoted Gold Star.
JAW-DROPPING
Martin's ambition is to dance for Christina Aguilera and before going on stage hoped his dancing caused some jaw-droppping. Judge Kimberly Wyatt said Martin lacked control but had great energy. While Ashley Banjo said he liked it for the wrong reasons.
When Ashley looked like he might waver and change his decision Davina ran on stage shouting, "change your mind!" But the judges had spoken and Martin was left to work on his dream of dancing with Christina Aguilera alone.
