Martin Sierra is lucky to be walking - let alone dancing. He broke his back while doing gymnastics when he was 15 and was left in a cast for three years.
The man with big hair, big personality and big moves grew up in Norway with his mum, dad and 3 brothers.
He came to the UK to study at LIPA (Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts). Martin said he came to the UK, "with a suitcase and a dream."
When he came to the UK LIPA advised him to cut his hair, but he refused.
Tragedy
He's been dancing since he was ten tears old, but tragedy struck when he was 15 and left him unable to dance for three years after breaking his back.
Doctors were not sure if he would ever be fully healthy again. But Martin kept going with his exercises and stayed in a girdle made of cast 24/7 for a whole three years until he was fighting fit again.
Dream
When he was better Martin could not wait to start dancng again and his time away from dancing made him realise how easily he could lose his dream. So he says he wants to, "dance every day like it's my last."
In Norway there were no local dance classes for Martin to go to so he taught himself watching music videos on TV. Which could explain his love of Christina Aguilera!
Martin loves Christina and says, "she is the reason I dance," and he is determined not only to meet her but to be her backing dancer and go on tour with her.
Disappointed

When he first appeared on Got To Dance Martin made quite an entrance. He danced his heart out but only got one Gold Star from judge Adam Garcia. He was so disappointed that Davina ran onstage to try and get at least one of the other judges to change their minds.
But Ashley and Kimberly were not to be won over and Martin left disappointed.
But Adam could not forget Martin after the auditions and put his reputation on the line to convince the other judges to bring him through to the final 18. His showmanship and ability to get an audience going got Martin through.
Martin returned to the semi final just as flamboyant as ever and shook his way across the stage. Adam Garcia - who had worked so hard to get Martin back in the competition said he was, "disappointed." Which left Martin disappointed himself. His paparazzi inspired routine left the other two judges cold too. After the vote it was Emily and Jukebox Juniors who went through to the live Valentine's Day final.
