As Emerson, Jack, and Tony grab Matobo, Agent Walker comes under fire for her harsh interrogation tactics; Janis is in a compromising position; and Henry is betrayed by someone close to him.

At the FBI Moss dispatches a SWAT team to back up Walker, who is en route to the Matobo residence. Simultaneously he gets word from the Attorney General's office that Tanner's lawyers are filing suit against the Bureau: charging that Walker tortured Tanner for information. Moss calls Walker to get her side, but she doesn't deny anything. He orders her back to headquarters but she refuses, believing the Tony/Jack mess is still hers to clean up. At Matobo's residence the Prime Minister and his wife seek refuge in their safe-room, while Emerson learns that Tanner has talked to Walker. Unable to get into the safe-room, fearing the FBI's arrival, and knowing they must capture Matobo in order to get to Dubaku, Jack suggests they try to gas Matobo and his wife out. Emerson agrees, and Jack and Tony flood the ventilation system with a combination of household products which create a potentially poisonous gas. Eventually Matobo's wife Alma can't take any more, and opens the safe-room door. At the FBI Assistant Prosecutor Raymond Howell arrives to question Janis about the Tanner interrogation. Larry intervenes, saying Janis is vital to an ongoing mission and can't be distracted. Emerson and his crew hurry Matobo and his wife to their waiting escape vehicle. Walker has arrived on the scene, and sees Jack and Tony with Matobo. She calls Moss to report in, but Litvak gets the drop on her, and she too is taken prisoner. During their getaway Jack and Tony convince Emerson to keep Walker alive until they can learn how much Tanner told her. Walker's spite for the two former CTU agents is palpable. Emerson calls Nichols, and reports that they have "the package." He also says they captured Walker, and need Nichols to use his source in the Bureau to find out how much the Feds know about their operation.

Secret Service Agent Gedge tells Henry Taylor that he has a friend who can crack the files on the flash drive; Henry vows revenge on those who killed his son. In the White House President Taylor decides to move forward with the operation in Sangala despite the threat of terror acts. Kanin and Stevens try to dissuade her. Taylor learns that Jack and Tony have abducted Matobo and his wife; she is forced to rethink her decision, but the deadline is growing nearer. Moss learns that Walker has been taken by Jack and Tony. It is becoming clear that his feelings for her are more than professional. Nichols calls Emerson, and says Walker got nothing more from Tanner: she should be killed before they deliver Matobo. Dubaku grows increasingly impatient; Nichols reassures him that President Taylor will give in soon enough. Agent Gedge and Henry Taylor arrive at an apartment. Once inside, Henry realizes it is Samantha's apartment. Henry gets weak, and collapses... the victim of a drugged cup of coffee courtesy of Gedge. Henry realizes he's been betrayed; Gedge says he tried to protect Roger from harm, but in the end his tenacity was his downfall. With Henry fallen victim of the powerful neuron-muscular paralytic he's ingested, Gedge retrieves the flash drive, and calls Agent Vossler with orders to bring Samantha Roth back to her apartment. Vossler approaches Samantha, and says he is taking her into protective custody on the First Gentleman's orders.

In the FBI bullpen Howell continues to question agents and analysts about Walker and Tanner. Janis tells Sean that Walker ordered her to stall Tanner's lawyers, and she did. Sean says she could be considered an accessory. Howell presses Moss on Walker's whereabouts; the Fed tells the lawyer his agent has been taken by the enemy, and he can't be bothered with the bureaucracy. Janis tells Moss they've intercepted the communication containing the order to kill Walker. They try to trace the call, but the best they can pinpoint is it was made somewhere within the metro area. Emerson's van pulls into a construction site, and stops. He tells Jack to take Walker out and kill her. As Jack walks her away from the van, he whispers that he can save her but she needs to play along. He poses her for execution, and pretends to shoot her in the head while actually just grazing her neck. Walker follows Jack's lead, and falls into a ditch, playing dead. Jack and Tony begin to bury her body.
